The Ultimate Wing Showdown

Wings Wars: The 13th Annual Towns 4 Troops Iron Chef-Style BBQ Competition

Get ready for a battle of flavor! On Sunday, October 4, 2026, Towns 4 Troops returns to Long Lot Farm Brewery for an unforgettable day celebrating great food, friendly competition, and the people who make our communities stronger.

This isn’t your average wing tasting event! Teams made up of military personnel, first responders, local businesses, and talented backyard cooks will go wing-to-wing in an Iron Chef-style competition, creating their most unique and delicious chicken wing recipes. From classic favorites to bold new flavors, each team will bring their best sauces and seasonings as they compete for top honors.

But the best part? You get to be the judge! Guests with a Wing Lover Pass will have the opportunity to sample wings from each competing team, experience a variety of flavors, and vote for their favorites in the People’s Choice competition.

Beyond the wings, there’s plenty more to enjoy throughout the day. Guests can relax with a cold craft beverage, listen to live music, browse local craft vendors, enjoy delicious food options, take in exciting attractions like helicopter rides, and participate in raffles, tricky trays, and other activities, all while supporting a great cause.

Wing Wars is more than just a competition; it’s a celebration of community and a fundraiser supporting Towns 4 Troops’ mission to assist active-duty military members, veterans, and their families. Every ticket, raffle entry, and donation helps provide resources and support to those who have served and sacrificed for our country.

Whether you’re a wing enthusiast, a craft beer fan, or simply looking for a fun fall event with friends and family, Wing Wars has something for everyone. Come hungry, bring your crew, and join us for a day filled with incredible food, live entertainment, and community pride.

Lasting Impact

Towns4Troops is a dedicated nonprofit organization born from the spirit and community connection of our annual First Responder Iron Chef-Style BBQ Competition. What began as a single event has grown into a mission-driven effort to support and uplift the social and emotional well-being of our local military members and their families.

Through engaging events, community outreach, and year-round initiatives, we strive to create meaningful opportunities for connection, appreciation, and support for those who serve, and the loved ones who stand beside them.
