From BBQ to Brotherhood

Towns4Troops is a dedicated nonprofit organization born from the community spirit of our annual First Responder Iron Chef-Style BBQ Competition. What began as a single event over a decade ago has grown into a year-round mission to support and uplift our active-duty military members, veterans, and their families.

Our journey started with one goal, to bring people together in a fun, meaningful way while meeting the social needs of those who serve. Over the years, that mission has expanded to include hosting social events, organizing barbecues, sending care packages, and providing emergency response supplies to military families right here at home and across the country.

Our Mission in Action

From small-town gatherings to large-scale community events, every initiative we take on is built around connection, appreciation, and tangible support.

• Community Events: Our flagship BBQ competition brings together military personnel, first responders, and everyday heroes in a spirited culinary showdown. Guests enjoy incredible food, live music, and local vendors, all while raising funds for our programs.
• Care & Comfort: In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we launched our Care Kits Campaign to provide comfort items to National Guard troops deployed nationwide. These kits continue to serve as a morale boost for service members working alongside first responders, medical staff, and essential workers.
• Direct Support: Whether it’s delivering emergency supplies, coordinating community outreach, or sending a simple reminder that they’re not forgotten, we’re committed to showing our troops, and their families, that their sacrifices matter.

Why We Do It

Our service members give so much of themselves, often spending weeks or months away from loved ones while tackling challenges that affect all Americans. They bolster front-line emergency workers, strengthen disaster response, and protect our communities, all while living the realities of military life. Towns4Troops exists to give back in a way that’s personal, heartfelt, and impactful.
